Exterior remodeling: What’s new honors the old.
When it comes to remodeling or repairing materials to the exterior of an older home, there is a truth to bear: some materials used back in the day are no longer available today.
So, it takes a keen skill to use new material to seamlessly blend and/or match to what currently or did exist. Not only to update the function but maintain the integrity of your home’s past. Knowing how to do that requires an understanding of what the new materials are and the capabilities they offer. And knowing that is an ongoing process. Which is why staying up to date is vital. And up to date we always are.
In addition, we have sourced and accumulated a substantial stock of materials unavailable in the market or hard to find from the past. And when possible, we are able to pull from that resource to replace or repair existing features with an exact match—from various exterior pieces to certain types of siding.
At the end of the day, having an exterior remodel constructed to reflect the soul of your home is paramount. A task that we enjoy immensely.
